The Seacoast Republican Women would like to invite high school age students to participate in our annual essay contest. The contest is open to public, private and home-schooled students currently in grades 9-12 in the seacoast New Hampshire area.
The purpose of the contest is to encourage young people to express their awareness of current issues and to demonstrate their communication skills. Judging will be based on total presentation: originality, clarity of thought, style, expression and grammar. We hope that it will foster an increased understanding of the common goals and values we share and encourage future leaders of America.
The 2019 Scholarship Contest is now closed. Stay tuned for our 2020 essay contest!
The $500 award will be presented at our Spring Luncheon on MAY 24, 2019 !
Essay Question 2019
"What do you believe should be the United States' policy on immigration and how should it be enforced?"

Each entry should also include a cover letter with the student's name, address, phone, current school and a brief description of their future academic goals.
