Events

Committee Members

The Events Committee arranges and coordinates necessary components for various events held throughout a calendar year.  These include, but are not limited to, Spring and Holiday luncheons, New Member Receptions, the SRW Chili Festival or other events sponsored or supported by the SRW.

The Event Chair identifies the location for each event, selects menus and ensures the facility has the proper set ups (flags, podiums, audio/video, etc...). The Event Committee also coordinates events with other SRW Committees such as Programs, Public Relations, Ways & Means, Treasurer and applicable others. The Event Chair is a Board member and provides status reports at the SRW Monthly Board meetings.

Our Annual Chili Fest is one of the largest political gatherings in the Seacoast. It is held in September and draws hundreds of people to meet the Republican candidates for local, state and federal offices. Traditionally our Spring and Holiday events have been luncheons with guest speakers or special events.
